Lucas showed a lot of potential during this production. He constantly improved as an actor and took direction very well. When I explained something to him, he very rarely needed clarification and understood what I meant. He truly understands characterization and embodied Simba in acting ability, voice, movement and more!

Lucas is a talented boy soprano (treble) with a range of about G3 to E5, showing strong technique and a great musical ear. He performs songs from different styles with confidence — from Pharrell Williams’ upbeat “Happy” to the soft “Death Bed” by Powfu, and “O Canada”, where his clear pitch and steady breathing stand out.

He’s now working on the more challenging “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone and is making great progress. His ability to adapt to different styles, his musical sensitivity, and stage charisma point to a strong artistic future.

I recently had a photoshoot with Lucas, and we spent some time together working in the studio and location together.
It's always nice to see young talent with a good focus and ability to take direction well. For younger talent it's challenging being on commercial sets as there are more things to be concerned with and focus is key in getting the shots required for the client and understanding it takes time and it's a job.

Lucas was great at being patient and working with me to create the images I was after and showed an interest in the process and how its done.

Experience and knowledge on shoots takes time, but Lucas is off to a great start and has great set manners with a calm cool attitude, and was a pleasure to have on set.
